OgaLanLord is a subsidiary of FixIT Services, a company duly registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. FixIT Services was founded by a team of Nigerian engineers, product designers, and business operators who saw firsthand how broken the property and skilled-trades markets were — and decided to fix them.
FixIT Services operates across technology, property services, and skilled trades facilitation in Nigeria. Its mission is to digitalise informal markets — bringing transparency, accountability, and financial security to sectors that have historically operated on trust alone. OgaLanLord is the consumer-facing product of that mission.
With offices in Awka (Anambra State) and Lagos State, FixIT Services employs a team of verification officers, customer support specialists, dispute resolution officers, and technology engineers across Nigeria.
We are not a fintech company, and we do not engage in unregulated money transmission. Every naira that passes through our escrow system is tied to a specific, verified service transaction — held in trust for the duration of the job and released only upon client approval or our dispute resolution outcome.
Property fraud in Nigeria costs seekers billions of naira every year. Ghost landlords collect inspection fees and "caution deposits" for properties they don't own or that don't exist. Agents disappear after collecting money. Students, young professionals, and families relocating from other states get hit hardest.
On the artisan side, the story is equally painful. Clients pay upfront for work that is never completed. Artisans do entire jobs and never get paid. There is no paper trail, no accountability, no recourse.
OgaLanLord was built to change both of these realities at once. We created a platform where every property listing is verified by a human before it goes live, and every artisan job is protected by an escrow system that holds funds securely and only releases them when both parties are satisfied — or when our dispute team has made a determination.
We also recognise that many landlords and artisans are not comfortable with technology. Our physical offices exist precisely for them — walk in, and our staff will list your property, set up your artisan profile, and explain every step, at no extra charge.

Client creates a job & funds escrow
The client describes the work, agrees a price with the artisan, and funds are held securely in escrow — not released to anyone yet.
Artisan completes the work
The artisan carries out the job and submits proof of completion (photos, notes, milestones). The client is notified.
Client reviews and approves
The client inspects the work and approves the milestone. Funds are released to the artisan immediately.
Dispute window (if needed)
If the client is unsatisfied, they raise a dispute within 7 days. OgaLanLord reviews evidence from both sides and makes a binding decision. If no action is taken within the auto-release window, funds are automatically released.

Not a money transmitter
OgaLanLord does not transmit money between unrelated parties. All funds movement is tied to a verified service transaction on this platform.
Regulated escrow
Our escrow service facilitates service transactions only — funds are held for a specific job and released upon completion. We do not offer general money storage or transfer.
Dispute handling
Every escrow-protected job includes a structured dispute resolution process. We investigate claims, review evidence, and issue binding determinations.
NDPA 2023 compliant
We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and maintain records of all processing activities.
Trust by design
Every listing is verified before it goes live. We would rather have fewer listings than allow a single fraudulent one to harm a seeker.
Escrow-secured payments
Funds never go directly to an artisan until you approve the work. Our escrow holds payment securely and releases it only on your confirmation — protecting both sides.
Fair dispute resolution
Every job has a structured dispute window. We investigate, mediate, and make final determinations based on evidence — not guesswork.
